Best Ever London Fog

Fluffy, a little sweet, and a lot of cozy. It is really all you can ask or hope for in a London Fog! No more suffering through watered down milky tea lattes for you.

LONDON FOG IS AN ACE –Kylie A.

What You'll Need

How to Make it

  1. Put the tea bag in your favorite mug, steep in just enough hot water to cover the tea bag (an ounce or two of water should be perfect!) Let the tea steep for as long as possible, you want that inch of tea to be super concentrated!

  2. Meanwhile, lets heat that milk through & make it fluffy! Specific instructions on this step are immediately following the recipe

  3. After your tea has steeped throughly, and your milk is fluffy & warm, add in your sweetener of choice to the tea concentrate (be sure to poke the tea bag while stirring in the sweetener)

  4. Top off the sweetened tea with your fluffy steamed milk & enjoy!

NOTES FOR STEP 2:

If using a home espresso machine/steam wand; Gently aerate the milk for the first half of the steaming process. While aerating, You'll want that milk to sound like ripping paper, not like the sound of blowing bubbles into your drink through a straw. Once the milk starts to approach temp, you need to completely submerge the steam wand in the milk to create a whirlpool effect. The result will be beautiful, extra fluffy, microfoam.

If using an electric or manual whisk; Place milk in a small saucepan over medium high heat on the stove. Whisk thoroughly through the whole heating process to get as much foam as possible! (You do not want your milk to boil, so adjust the heat as necessary.)
